Kelp Kit
A whole new way to grow, all wrapped up in one little box. Meet the perfect introduction to growing with seaweed, complete with plantable Kelp Pots, Kelp Drops, and wildflower seeds.
Whether you're seaweed-curious or shopping for your favorite green thumb, this kit is a fun little invitation to grow something good.
Each Kelp Kit contains:
8 Kelp Pots: Plantable, peat-free seed-starting pots made with kelp and recycled plant fibers. Designed to balance moisture, support healthy roots, and break down naturally in soil.
1 bottle of Kelp Drops (4 oz.): Made from 100% giant kelp extract, this liquid growth concentrate supports healthy roots and resilience, from fresh cuttings to established houseplants.
1 packet of wildflower seeds: A colorful mix of flowers to get your growing adventure started.
A little taste of everything kelp can do.
Grow with less plastic. Swap conventional plastic seed-starting pots for plantable Kelp Pots that go straight into the soil, roots and all.
Give your plants a natural boost. Kelp Drops bring naturally occurring plant-supporting compounds to your growing routine, from propagation to established plants.
Keep things simple. Sow your seeds, nurture your seedlings, and transplant the entire pot when they're ready. No removing plants from their pots or disturbing their roots.
Made for giving (and keeping). A fun introduction to seaweed-powered growing for curious beginners, experienced gardeners, and everyone in between.
Kelp Pots
Step 1: Fill pot with seed-starter soil & sow following seed packet directions. Water thoroughly.
No drainage holes needed. Excess water will seep through pot walls. Store pots in a tray to contain any extra drainage. Place in a nice sunny spot or under a grow light.
Step 2: Keep pot & soil nice and moist while your plants germinate.
Water evenly. Remember those edges! Keep moist but don't overwater. Pot will harden and turn light brown when it's time for another drink. Pots are delicate when wet. Handle with care. Do not leave in standing water for long periods of time.
Step 3: When plants are ready to transplant, bury pot & roots completely. Water thoroughly.
It's time to plant when roots are visible through pot walls or plant has established multiple leaves. Pot will completely degrade over time, enriching the soil along the way.
Kelp Drops
Always shake before use. It's important (and fun).
For propagation
Use 10 drops per cup of water with fresh plant cuttings. Change water out weekly.
For established plants
Mix 8-10ml per gallon of water. One full "squeeze" of the dropper = 1ml. Water as usual, all year round.
Store upright in cool, dark place. Direct sunlight and excessive heat are your biggest enemies.
